Lakeshore Retreat was established and chartered in 2005 and is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides a safe and welcoming environment for 12-step groups. While primarily serving Seattle/Tacoma and Washington State's LGBTQ community, our activities and events are open to everyone. We help people put their lives back together.
If you would like to be a part of this opportunity to help others, we invite you to make a donation at this time. LakeShore Retreat is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
We accept three types of donations:
- General Cash Donations - Support LakeShore Retreat's general operating expenses, help to keep registration fees low and to cover scholarships
- Donations of Physical Items, Gift Certificates, etc. - Lakeshore Retreat accepts donations primarily as prizes to be used at fundraisers throughout the year (which raise money for the general fund). To donate a prize, simply bring it the next event. If you would like to donate something to LakeShore Retreat that we could use as an organization instead of a prize, please contact us to see if we have a need.
- Amazon Smile - Amazon will donation for qualified purchases when purchased through the URL smile.amazon.com. Click here to set Lakeshore Retreat as your selected charity for Amazon Smile.
Your cash donations allows us to continue to run Lakeshore and to make a difference in people's lives.
This year we are focusing on fewer but higher quality prizes valued $50 and above.
Proceeds from the raffle help keep the cost of the Retreat as low as possible, as well as provide scholarships to those who need them.
If you would like to donate a prize, please contact Scott P. at email@example.com.
Lakeshore Retreat is a 501(c)(3) and donations may be tax deductible. A donation receipt is available upon request.
Thank you in advance for your support!
